Point Lobos

From time to time, I’ll take the opportunity to talk about things a little less on the abstract, and just post about my travels and life experiences- local or otherwise. The first weekend of September, I went down to Point Lobos State Reserve with my girlfriend to see what all the buzz was about.

Perspective

What goes through your mind when you line up a shot? For me, I’m always in search of a unique composition. How can I best represent my subject in a way that has never been done before? (Also of note: I like lighthouses.)

Entropy

I threw together a quick dinner over the grill last night for friends and, while I was preparing the fire, I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I took pictures of flames. So I grabbed my camera and got to work.

Delicate

Have you ever walked up to something in nature and just felt insignificant? I think it might be my favorite feeling in the entire world.
